It certainly feels like just yesterday when we witnessed these actors and actresses make their acting debut at a young age. Believe it or not, those familiar faces are all grown up now, and some of them managed to become some of the industry’s biggest stars! Without a doubt, these child celebs have certainly come a long way since their days as popular child stars.
However, there are also numerous child stars who decided to walk away from the spotlight to pursue other careers and chase educational degrees. Of course, no matter where they ended up, quite a couple of them are barely recognizable now. You could say they’d be even more unrecognizable when you only know them for their adorable young faces. For a pleasant and nostalgic throwback, here are some of your favorite child stars and the things they’re doing now.
Keith Thibodeaux
If you don’t remember who Keith Thibodeaux is, it’s probably because you know him as Richard Keith. He’s a former child actor known for playing the role of Little Ricky on the ‘50s sitcom The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour and I Love Lucy. The show’s producer thought that his Cajun French last name would be too hard to pronounce, resulting in his famous stage name.
Apart from the sitcom, he also appeared on several other television shows and The Andy Griffith Show. As an adult, he joined the rock band David and the Giants. He’s now married to Kathy Denton, and in 1990, he became an Executive Director of his own company, Ballet Magnificat! In 2017, the couple made the investments to expand their company to Curitiba, Brazil.
