Lauren Chapin

Lauren Chapin is best known for her role as Kathy Anderson in the classic sitcom Father Knows Best. It aired from 1954 until 1960, while she appeared in 196 episodes. Her performances garnered much acclaim in the industry, to which she received honors with five Junior Emmy Awards for Best Child Actress. She’s also the younger sister of the two other child stars, Michael and Billy Chapin.

The iconic sitcom was the peak of Lauren’s career. After her successful run, she was typecast as Kathy Anderson, and roles for her talents soon dwindled. However, some reports mention that the former child star found various other works such as a cocktail waitress, a flight attendant, and even as an insurance claims examiner.
