Tony Dow

Tony Dow was another well-known actor back in the day. Initially pursuing a career in swimming and diving, he switched to acting after doing his iconic role in Leave It to Beaver in 1957, despite getting little to no acting experience. He continued to appear throughout the show’s run until 1963. He continued to do acting until 1965 when he served in the National Guard. Amidst doing minor roles, he did some behind-the-camera work credits. However, by 1999, his acting career has pretty much ended.

Today, Dow has been noted for his work as a sculptor. He mostly does a lot of abstract works, with bronze being his base for his designs. Though he’s rarely seen on the small screen today, he’ll be surely remembered for the legacy he has left behind.
