After portraying the sassy Arnold Jackson in Diff‘rent Strokes, Gary Coleman became the darling of Hollywood. He was best known for his famous catchphrase, “Whatchu talkin’ ‘bout?” The show ran from 1978 to 1986 and helped seal his fame as a child actor. However, Coleman struggled to transition into becoming a bona fide actor after the show ended. He did make cameos in shows like The Jamie Foxx Show, The Simpsons, and Robot Chicken.

He even got embroiled in a big controversy after taking his parents to court for misappropriating his assets. He could have stabilized his finances with the help of a financial adviser. Coleman was married to Shannon Price for a year. Sadly, the couple split and two years later, the actor passed away.
