Prince William & Kate Middleton

The world watched in awe as Prince William and Kate Middleton married at Westminster Abbey in London in 2011. Even after more than a decade, the couple’s three children continue to astound commoners. However, the couple had a high-profile split in 2007, which eventually worked out for the better. The following year, they reconciled and announced their engagement in 2010.

Before becoming a Duchess, Middleton, to her credit, worked as a part-time accessory buyer for the clothing retailer Jigsaw in 2006. The following year, she put up a photography exhibition to coincide with the publication of Alistair Morrison’s book Time to Reflect in order to raise funds for UNICEF. She is very involved in humanitarian efforts, raising funds for non-profit organizations such as the Oxford Children’s Hospital and Place2Be, a non-profit entity that provides mental health counseling to school children—a testament to her caring heart.
