Lance Bass & Michael Turchin

Many remember Lance Bass back in the day as one of the members of the iconic boy band NSYNC. In 2006, he came out as gay after years of speculation about his orientation. Five years later, he met his future spouse, painter and actor Michael Turchin, and started dating thereafter. Two years later, they announced that they got engaged. On December 20, 2014, they tied the knot in Los Angeles. They became the first same-sex couple to have exchanged vows on cable TV. Notable guests include Bass’ former NSYNC bandmates except for Justin Timberlake, who was on a world tour.

Since their marriage, Bass and Turchin have added twins to their family. Their son and daughter were born in October of 2021. However, their attempts in having kids were not without difficulties. Apparently, they had done nine surrogacy attempts before the birth of their twins, which was a massive investment for them and a strain for the surrogate.
