Lily Tomlin & Jane Wagner

The love between Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner is among the longest-lasting in Hollywood. While they are only married for nine years, their love stretches all the way to the ’70s. While Tomlin is known for her comedy and acting career, Wagner is known for her extensive career in writing and is given credit for creating many characters that Tomlin have portrayed over the years. Given their synergy, it is not surprising that the two quickly started a relationship. However, due to the poor reception about same-sex relationships during that time, they never came out formally for decades. However, their relationship was pretty much an accepted fact in Hollywood.

Starting in the 2000s, as opinions about same-sex couples fared much better, Tomlin and Wagner have been more open about their relationship. In 2013, after 42 years of being together, they  tied the knot in Los Angeles. Since then, the two have been quite strong in their love and still collaborate just like they did before.
