Mark Consuelos & Kelly Ripa

To some degree, co-stars often become lovers, especially in Hollywood, just like Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa did. It didn’t take long for a budding romance to bloom after they began working together. They were dating quietly at the time, but fans became aware of their relationship when the couple was spotted filming All My Children in Jamaica. Their relationship was not without difficulties, however. Consuelos revealed on Watch What Happens that he and Ripa had briefly split up but eloped a week later after reconciling. Back in 1996, the couple secretly married in Las Vegas.

Consuelos is best known for his role as Mateo Santos on ABC’s All My Children. In the early 1990s, he danced with the Suncoat Calendar Men in Clearwater, Florida. Ripa, like her husband, is well-known for appearing in the same soap opera, as well as for starring in Hope & Faith and Live! with Kelly and Ryan.
