Love is difficult to discover for anyone, but Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita appear to have cracked the code.The first time they looked at one other was at a gym in West Hollywood. Mikita had just seen the pilot for Modern Family. He wanted to talk to him about his character Mitch. Ferguson then invited him out to dinner after they stayed in touch through Twitter.

One stumbling blocked them from starting their lives together straight away: Mikita already had a man. However, destiny has its ways, he was single ten months later, and the rest, as they say, is history! The actor and lawyer got engaged and married in a ceremony in downtown New York City back in July 2013. Before legally exchanging vows, they pushed for gay marriage to be legalized and raised more than $1 million for LGBTQ causes through their foundation, Tie The Knot.
