Ellen Page made waves back in 2014 when she publicly came out as a homosexual woman at a pro-LGBT conference in Las Vegas. Although it is terrible that coming out is still such a big thing, it was an excellent step forward to witness another person feel completely comfortable with themselves. Page surprised everyone when she walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival with her girlfriend, Samantha Thomas.

According to her website, Thomas is a creative artist who works in several mediums, including oil painting and modern abstract and structural compositions. She and Page also track her surfing abilities on social media, regularly uploading photographs from Thomas’ time in the ocean. The couple appears to be huge fans of one other’s investments. Page has been active in supporting LGBT rights, and she is ready to scream her true feelings for her partner out loud and proud.
