While many may know actor Jim Parsons for his role as the geeky character Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, his personal life is one that is quite the contrary to his on-screen role. He has been in a relationship with Todd Spiewak for about two decades now. The two first met back in 2002 at a karaoke bar. The story goes that two of their female friends who tagged along can be credited for setting them up for a blind date. The two then quickly hit off.

While Parsons thanked his partner in 2010 while accepting his Emmy, many people did not notice his mention. It took three years before Parsons and Spiewak made their relationship public. In 2017, the two tied the knot after years of speculation about their marriage. Since then, the two have been much more open about their relationship and have shared.
